It was supposed to be a normal day at the gym, until it wasn't. I couldn't perform the chest fly on the cables because even the 5-pound weight was too heavy. He said I looked like a puppet on a string. And THAT was the day he confessed I became his "most embarrassing with a client in the gym... EVER!" Did I mention he wasn't going near my nutrition? I was too picky. I was on my own. What's a girl to do?!
I could've quit. But instead I got curious, resourceful, and stubborn enough to figure it out myself. I read everything I could get my hands on. I got curious about how food was affecting my goals. I tracked every bite in spreadsheets, experimented, learned what worked and what didn't. My body changed (sometimes good, sometimes bad), my strength grew (as well as my muscles!), and eventually I realized... I wasn't just figuring it out for me. I was creating the very systems, strategies, and soulful habits that I now share with everyone who comes knocking.
Those frustrating days became the spark. The kindling that lit the fire still burning deep inside. And now, the path I carved for myself is the one I light for others so you never have to walk it alone.
